„Telšē StarTown“ – an event that invited business, political and society leaders not only from the capital of Žemaitija, but also from the whole of Lithuania, as well as guests who are interested in investments in the Telšiai district. The partners of the IQ Forum, the European Commission Representation in Lithuania and the Ministry of Finance, presented the plan "New Generation Lithuania" financed by the European Union "Next Generation EU" to regional businessmen and decision makers, and in discussions with business and local government representatives, they discussed how to use these investments in the most rational way. Reforms and investments in green energy and transport, digitization, education, health and social areas provided for in the "New Generation Lithuania" plan will increase Lithuania's resilience to possible crises in the future. This 2.225 billion Euro investments will promote the sustainable growth of the Lithuanian economy focused on high added value while investing in people's competencies and skills. At the IQ Forum, the Deputy Mayor of Telšiai District Municipality Mantas Serva, the Head of the European Commission Representation in Lithuania Marius Vaščega, representatives of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economy and Innovation gave presentations at the IQ Forum. The forum was crowned by the discussion "Sustainable development of the Telšiai region: where we are and where we are going".
